Hi! My name is Morte Portney. When I was born
my parents named me Kristina Renee, but friends
call me Morte. I reside in the New Jersey suburbs
of Philadelphia. I recently got married and live
with my husband and the two cats that own us.
My 9-5 job is as an administrative assistant for
a contract company. I've lived up and down the
eastern seaboard but consider myself as being
from Washington State. Places I've lived include
South Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, Maine,
New York City, New Jersey and of course Washington.
I have 2 years of college as an interior design
major, hopefully someday I'll be able to finish
that degree and pursue a career in Interior Design.
Until then I'm the one my friends call when they
want to rearrange the furniture.
When I had spare time I liked to read, draw,
sew, read, chat on-line, paint, write poetry,
read and bake. Now that I have no spare time I
still like to read whenever possible. My favorite
color is blue.
I've considered myself a Pagan for 5 years now.
I don't belong to any religious group but continually
explore my beliefs and how they relate to my world.
I enjoy learning about other cultures and religions
and hope I never stop exploring my world.

a practitioner of Wicca for the past 13 years.
During this time she has alternately worked both
as a solitary and in a coven.
She is a happily married stay-at-home-mom of
